Period report: monthly spending chart and year-over-year comparison

You can see where the money goes

The period report charts spending by month, with the average, the highest and lowest month and a year-over-year comparison. Not "what did I pay this time" but how it is changing.

Who it is for

For people who read their own meters and pay for electricity, water, gas and heating — in a flat, a house, a summer place or a rented home. If you still do the arithmetic in a notebook or a spreadsheet, this does the same thing without arithmetic mistakes and without losing last year's numbers.

You add the tariff rates yourself. Rates depend on your region and supplier, and they change over time. The app is responsible for the arithmetic, not for guessing your prices.

Making sense of tariffs

Usually the hard part is not the app but the billing itself. The blog explains how utility charges are calculated and what changes in tariffs and rules.
